1:00pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police and detectives are investigating a bomb threat at Dunbar School. This is the second incident this week of a bomb threat in the Bridgeport Schools system. I debated posting this to avoid copycats but as a parent myself I would want to know any incident at my child’s school.
Crash with entrapment
#cttraffic–Firefighters have been on the scene for an extended period of time trying to extract a man from a crash at Route 25/8. He reportedly has a fractured pelvis and leg. This is near exit 5 with lane closures. Expect heavy delays.
Boat fire
#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters extinguish a boat fire at Captain’s Cove. Fire is out and they have requested the fire marshal to investigate.
11:00pm–#Shelton CT–Firefighters on scene battling a fire 8 High Plains Road. Monroe is providing mutual aid.
Fire reported is now out
12:26am–#Bridgeport CT–If that pounding wasn’t enough now you have firetrucks screaming to a reported fire at 44 Lenox Ave. Police officer on patrol reports the fire appears out. Firefighters now on scene reporting nothing visible. Guess what? It was ANOTHER porch fire!
Porch fire
11:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–Tonight’s porch fire is at 65 Asylum Street on the back porch. These are getting to be a new daily event.
Tonight’s Car Fire
9:33pm–#Weston CT–Tonight’s car fire was at 74 Eleven O’clock Road which then extended into the garage. Sounded like extensive damage according to firefighters. I hope they call our friends at Servpro so they can make it “Like it never even happened”!!
Street fight
6:08pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police reporting 20-30 people fight in the street at Park Avenue and Olive Street. Turns out to be kids fighting.
Truck hits pedestrian
6:06pm–#Bridgeport CT–A pedestrian has been hit by a truck at East Main Street and Alpine Street
Shots fired
5:25pm–#Bridgeport CT–Officers on patrol reporting the heard shots fired coming from the Kossuth and Shelton Street area. No reports of anyone or anything hit.
