Video Report–Three Shot In Bridgeport

UPDATE–The male victim remains in serious condition. The two females were less seriously injured. At this point, investigators believe that all three were injured by ricochets during the gunfire. All three are expected to recover.
Detectives learned that it was a busy night at Expressions with a large crowd. At some point, the club stopped allowing people inside. Detectives also learned that there were two altercations inside the club. It remains unclear, however, if either of these altercations led to the gunfire. Detectives were out recanvassing the scene and checking for any video security footage in the area.  Names probably won’t be released until Monday.  Expressions on club goers were of shock and awe…….

Shots rang out shortly after 1:30 Saturday morning and three people were shot. The shooting took place outside the new Expressions Bar at the corner of Boston and Palisades Ave.

Two women were shot in the leg and man was shot in the chest. He stumbled down Palisades Ave. where he collapsed. He called police from his cellphone first saying all he can see is white house, later identifying house number 55. Police quickly found him on Palisades. The man was concision and breathing when he entered the emergency room

Police found shell casing outside the Chinese restaurant. Witnesses said they heard a burst of about 15 shots, then a second burst of 5 shots before it all ended.

A witness called police that the gunman fled on foot on Ridgefield Avenue with a AK-47 but police referred to it as a rifle at the scene.

Police closed off Boston Avenue from Sheridan Street to Palisades as a crime scene and have begun their investigation.

Shots Fire At The New Club

UPDATE–Report of multiple victims hit by gun fire—1:33am–#Bridgeport CT–Multiple calls for shots fired at the new Expressions Club at Boston Avenue and Palisade Avenue.  EMS on the way for a victim with a gunshot wound.  Possible male with an “AK47”  on Ridgefield Avenue according to a witness.  One person confirmed hit at 1403 Boston Ave.

2:39am–#Fairfield CT–Fairfield University opens their lead with an intoxicated male.

11:26pm–#Fairfield CT–Fairfield University takes the lead with another intoxicated 18 year old female.

10:28pm–#Fairfield CT–Firefighters and EMS to Fairfield University for an alleged intoxicated female.

10:05pm–#Fairfield CT–Firefighters and EMS reporting to Heart University in the Linda McMahon Building for a man allegedly intoxicated and passed out in the men’s room.

Easton K-9 to retire with no replacement

#Easton CT–We have received a number of messages from viewers  upset that Officer Tamra French and K9 Chase have been patrolling the streets of Easton since 2003.  K9 Chase is now twelve years old and will be retiring on June 30, 2013.  There is an online petition you can sign by clicking here  here to keep the K9 program going once Chase retires.  There is also a Facebook page here…..  Easton is the smallest police department in Connecticut with a K9 program.

Tutor Inappropriately Touching 6th Graders

5:50pm–#Statford CT–The principal at Chapel Street School at 380 Chapel Street has called police and Department of Children & Families for a tutor that has been inappropriately touching sixth graders.  The police have just been called and the investigation has not begun but we will be sure to pass along any updates as we get them.
