Trumbull News: Dad Forgets 5yo Daughter At Target

UPDATE: This turned out to be  prank call but as you see Trumbull Police had presence at Target and investigated.

3:43pm–#Trumbull CT– A dad left his 5 year old daughter at the Hawley Lane Target and didn’t realize it until he got home in Stratford according to radio reports.  When police tried calling the man back they got no answer.  Police are at the store trying to sort this out with Target employee AJ who possibly found the child.   #NotFatherOfTheYear.

Milford News: I-95 Crash Accident With Injuries

UPDATE: Radio reports say this is involving another coach bus, this one from Georgia.  A total of 12 have been transported to the hospital.

4:43pm–UPDATE:#cttraffic–Radio reports say the highway is being closed to get ambulance on and off the scene.  Avoid the area!

4:28pm—#cttraffic–#Milford CT– A multi car accident with a reported 11 injuries on I-95 northbound near exit 40.  Mutual aid ambulances called in to help assist transport the injured.

Bridgeport News: Car Located -Wanted In Abduction Attempt

3:33pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police spokesman Kevin Coughlin called to let us know that the car wanted in the attempted abduction of a 17 year old has been located in New Haven.  Chief Gaudette wants to thank everyone with tips that helped in locating the car.  There has not been an arrest at this moment but one is expected soon.

Fairfield News: Condom Thieves Make Clean Get Away

#Fairfield CT– Fairfield Police are looking to identify two Hispanic males involved in a shoplifting of condoms, baby formula, hair care products, and Dove soap from Walgreens on 10/7/15 at approximately 2132 hours. The males filled two carry baskets with items and jumped into a waiting dark colored Jeep with no front plate E/B towards Bridgeport.  (Fairfield Police Press Release)

Bridgeport Police Department asks public for info in attempted abduction case

Video Report—#Bridgeport, Conn. (October 7, 2015) –Today, the Bridgeport Police Department is asking the public for information regarding a suspect in an attempted abduction of a juvenile.

On October 5, 2015 at around 7:15 a.m., police officers responded to a call regarding an attempted abduction near the corner of Boston Ave. and Palisade Ave.  Arriving on the scene, police officers found the 17-year-old female victim uninjured.  The victim was walking to school on Boston Ave. when she was approached by a charcoal gray Toyota Yaris.   The Toyota is missing the rear bumper leaving the white styrofoam exposed.  The driver of the Toyota lured the victim into her car. Once the victim was in the car, the driver assaulted the victim. The victim bailed out of the Toyota while it was traveling west on Boston Ave.  The Toyota then made a u-turn at Dover Street and travelled east on Boston Ave. continuing into Stratford.

The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic female approximately in her 40’s. The suspect had black hair in a ponytail, freckles on her face, and was wearing a black leather jacket at the time. The Boston Ave. area had heavy traffic at the time of the incident and the Bridgeport Police Department is asking for help in identifying the driver and the vehicle.  Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the Bridgeport Detective Jeff Holtz at (203) 581-5293.
