Bridgeport News: Police Officer Hit By Car
#Bridgeport Connecticut–A plain clothes police officer was hit by a car at Connecticut Avenue and Logan Street. I spoke with Chief Perez who is at Bridgeport Hospital and he said she is doing well and is going in for x-rays. The driver of the car remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

Westport News: Operating Under the Influence
On 05/19/16 at approximately 1:00am, Ryan Gussen was stopped by the Westport Police for almost crashing into the guardrails on the Sherwood Island Connector, and waiting at green lights. Gussen was slurring his speech and was moving slowly. Officers performed the Standard Field Sobriety Tests and determined that Gussen was under the influence of narcotics and alcohol. Gussen was taken into custody. On his person, Officers located 2 Adderall pills and 2.5 Xanax pills in a pill container that should not have those pills in it. While being processed, Gussen refused to submit to the urine test. He has a court date on 05/31/16 in Norwalk.

Fairfield News: Shot Fired During Robbery
12:29am–#Fairfield Connecticut–Police confirm that the Rio Bravo Restaurant at 770 Commerce Drive was robbed at gunpoint. Radio reports said on shot was fired during the robbery. Police are still gathering information and evidence at this time.
