Bridgeport News: Two Arrested In Trumbull Gardens Shoot Up

#Bridgeport CT– Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced that two suspects have been arrested and charged in relation to an incident at Trumbull Gardens, which took place this summer and resulted in nine shooting victims — one homicide and eight injured.  Arrested was Jamal Hamilton and Kevan Bennett, the suspects are being held on a $1,000,000 bond.

UPDATE: I’m happy to report a doctor at the hospital was able to revive the victim and he is recovering from his wound

10:22pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating a homicide in the 1400 block of Fairfield Avenue.  There is a blood trail from Poplar Street to the where the victim collapsed in front of the laundromat.   He was stabbed in the chest according to witnesses.  Fairfield Avenue is blocked from Howard to Poplar Street.

Bridgeport News: Drive By Shooting Trumbull Gardens

9:33pm–#Bridgeport CT– A drive by shooting occurred at Trumbull Gardens.  Three cars are allegedly involved, police are trying to piece together a crime scene.  A victim shot to the back of the head showed up at St. Vincent’s Hospital.  He is conscious and alert according to radio reports.

Bridgeport News: Like Hitting A Mack Truck……

11:41am–Bridgeport CT– The driver of a pickup truck learned first hand what it is like being hit by a Mack truck on Goldenrod Avenue.  Actually he hit the Mack Truck that was at a dead stop according to witnesses.  The impact was so great it bent the pickup  between the cab and bed of the truck.  Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
