4:16pm–#Fairfield CT–Police are looking for a twenty year old male who walked into People’s Bank on the Post Road and asked the teller for a gun, then walked out of the bank. They are checking local businesses in the area, many are familiar with the man. He does not sound to be a threat. UPDATE--He has been located at a local restaurant washing dishes.

Possible house fire
3:20pm—#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on the way to a possible house fire in an abandoned house at the corner of Pembroke and Shelton Street, possible squatters still inside. UPDATE– Firefighters on scene reporting nothing visible from the street. Turns out to be a small trash fire on the rear third deck and extinguished.
Petro Spill in Southport
12:12pm–#Southport CT–A report of a either a gasoline or oil spill under the under pass on the Post Road near the Shell Station creating a traffic hazard.
Fairfield Stalker Arrested
#Fairfield CT–Wednesday 4/10/2013–6:29 pm, a complainant reported seeing a man hiding in a wooded area behind
a Vermont Ave home. He believed the man was watching children in the neighborhood and
directed officers to the location.
As police vehicles arrived on Vermont Ave the complainant reported the male had just fled the
scene running through the wooded area he was hiding in, out towards Home Depot, 541 Kings
Hwy Cut Off.
Daniel Gonzalez was detained exiting the woods into the Home Depot parking lot and initially
denied hiding in the woods changed his story several times to police. It was eventually learned
that Gonzalez was stalking an ex-girl friend who lives on Vermont Ave. and he has been sending
her repeated text messages in order to maintain contact. The victim reported that Gonzalez has
recently been showing up unannounced at the house, was seen several times driving past the
house by relatives. After learning Gonzalez was hiding in the woods, she requested his arrest.
Daniel Gonzalez was arrested and charged with 53a-181e Stalking in the 3rd Degree, 53a-183
Harassment in the 2nd Degree, and 53a-167a Interfering. Daniel Gonzalez is being held at the
Fairfield Police Headquarters on a $5000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court
on 04/11/2013 at 09:30 hours.
EMS called to West Rocks Middle School
11:50am–#Norwalk CT–EMS was just dispatched to West Rocks Middle School for a student with a “severe concussion”. No word on age or sex. With minors I do not expect a lot of details but if I do get them I’ll post them here.
Greenwich HS in lockdown
#Greenwich High School was in lockdown earlier this morning after a possibility that a gun was found at the school. Robocall to parents informed the parents of the situation. Reports say two were taken into custody by police.
Talk about a dream cake!
Danyella wouldn’t take no for an answer so I agreed she could bake a birthday cake for my daughter last week, she turned twelve. She wanted a red velvet cake, I’ve had that in the past and just thought it was the trendy thing. Well I didn’t have Danyella’s red velvet cake. It was awesome. Very flavorful and moist in every bite!

Disturbance then fire in Norwalk
2:04pm–#Norwalk CT–Police on scene of a structure fire at 36 Bouton Street, fire is now out. Police responded for disturbance now reporting the fire is out. Firefighters on the way.

1:44am–#Bridgeport CT– A report of about 6 women fighting on Iranistan Avenue near the ball field. Police on the way.
Foot Pursuit in Bridgeport
12:33am–Police capture one in a foot pursuit on Wheeler Ave. We aren’t certain what he was wanted for but that was the reason for all the police cars.
