State, Local Narcotics Investigators Execute Two Search and Seizure Warrants
(Bridgeport, CT – Oct. 16, 2013) — The Statewide Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Bridgeport Police Department SWAT and Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT), as well as personnel from Immigration’s & Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs & Border Patrol (CBP), executed a search warrant at 453 Hallett St. in Bridgeport. CBP provided aerial support for the operation. The warrant was the result of controlled buys of Heroin and ‘crack’ cocaine on various occasions from the residence. There were several individuals in and around the premises that were detained, to include two that attempted to flee the scene. SNTF arrested Noel Garcia, 19, of 174 Clarence St. in Bridgeport, charging him with two counts of sales of narcotics and interfering with police. Also arrested was Carlos Gonzalez, 43, of 453 Hallett St. in Bridgeport for Violation of Probation. A search of the property resulted in the seizure of a small quantity of Heroin and Marijuana, numerous packaging materials and scales, as well as $710.00 in cash found on Garcia. Personnel were simultaneously conducting surveillance of 767 Maple St. in Bridgeport, around the block from 453 Hallett St., when they arrested Guillermo Pagan, 31, outside of his residence. SNTF held an arrest warrant for Pagan, charging him with four counts of Sales of Narcotics and Conspiracy to Commit Sales of Narcotics. SNTF then executed a search warrant at 767 Maple St.and seized a small quantity of Heroin, packaging materials and scales. These warrants were the result of controlled buys of Heroin from Pagan on various occasions from his residence. Pagan was additionally charged with Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell and Operating a Drug Factory. Garcia and Pagan were transported to Troop G for processing while Gonzalez was transported to the Bridgeport Police Department. Garcia and Pagan were both held on a $100,000.00 surety bond, while Gonzalez was held on a $50,000.00 surety bond, and all are scheduled to appear for arraignment on at the Bridgeport Superior Court.
