Fire in Bridgeport
1:10am–#Bridgeport CT–Engine 6 happened to come upon this fire and called in the full assignment around 1:10am Monday night. The multi-family house appeared to be abandoned and previously boarded up. Heavy fire was seen on the second floor and extended into the attic which created the most spectacular views of the fire. Firefighters called a recall of fire and holding all units just after 2am. At 2:59 they requested the gas company to the scene. There were no reported injuries.

1:10am–#Bridgeport CT–Engine 6 happened upon a structure fire at 607 Union Avenue reporting heavy smoke coming from the building. Assignment being filled out and more firefighters on the way.
Tonight’s Car Fire
12:21am–#Bridgeport CT–Tonight’s car fire is in the 700 block of Platt Street. Firefighters on the way.
Police locate missing child
7:32pm–#Bridgeport CT–Custodian working at the Geraldine Johnson School at 475 Lexington Avenue that a parent was at the front door looking for her child who did not return home from school. Police lead by Sergeant James Meyers began a through search of the area, playground, and parking lot. At 9:38pm the child was located safe at her father’s house on Milne Street about four blocks away.
Shots fired
8:13pm–#Bridgeport CT –Shots fired into a dining room wall in an apartment at 589 Trumbull Avenue. Police are investigating.
Skiorsky Laceration
8:06pm–#Stratofrd CT–EMS on the way to Sikorsky for a man with a laceration to his cheek.
Dumpster fire
6:46pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on the scene putting out a dumpster fire at 733 Trumbull Avenue.
Norwalk Brush Fire
5:55pm–#Norwalk CT–Report of a large brush fire in the area of North Water Street.
Realtor walks in on copper thieves
1:39pm–#Bridgeport CT– A realtor walked in on two males in the process of stealing copper from a building at the 500 block of Stillman Street.
