Mark your calendar and purchase your tickets for the 7th Annual Project Runway: Falcon Edition. Members of the senior class and some favorite faculty will hit the catwalk at The Fairfield Ludlowe Auditorium. This year’s venue will accommodate many fashionista guests and promises quite a party! A must see and particularly fun for our town middle schoolers. Get your tickets today for a fantastic mother daughter outing and don’t forget Grandma would love to attend.
Fairfield Ludlowe High School’s Headmaster Greg Hatzis will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Gorgeous fashions from generous local businesses include: Apricot Lane, The Authentic Athlete, Capri, Dress Code, GAP, Island Outfitters, LeTarte, Loft, Splash of Pink, Teen Scene and Men’s Wearhouse of Trumbull Mall. Almost 80 seniors will serve as models and several favorite faculty members; Didi Bourque, Kevin Cotellese, Dave Schultz, Colleen Sousa and Stefanie Weise.
The focus is fashion but you’ll want to hear the sweet music and special performances by Ludlowe’s own The Deckhardt Quartet Jazz Band and acapella vocals by Close Harmony. Raffles, music and wonderful tasty delights made and served by Ludlowe Culinary Arts students under the direction of Rachel Keleher and generously underwritten by The Pantry.
Entering its 7th year Project Runway: Falcon Edition has become the number one fundraising event for the Ludlowe PTA as well as a tremendously fun filled community party! Co-chaired by Debbi O’Keefe and Maria Martucci and many dedicated volunteers who orchestrate the models, apparel, advertising, decorating and promotion and students helping out the day of the event.
The Runway volunteer team is very excited about the community support for the event. Debbi O’Keefe, Co-Chair for the event said, “For the retail community to come together and support our students and high school this way is extraordinary. I only hope everyone in the community remembers to support these local retailers just as they have supported us.”
