Route 8 Police Pursuit
1:30am–#cttraffic–Shelton Police are in pursuit on Route 8 southbound, they just passed exit 10 and then broke off the pursuit.
Bridgeport News: Fire on Central Avenue
10:56pm–#Bridgeport CT–Just before 11pm Saturday night firefighters responded to a call of fire at an abandoned house at 1801 Central Avenue. When they arrived they found heavy fire at the roof line and were concerned about the flames extending to the building to the left of it. Firefighters quickly got control of the fire, I was there within ten minutes of the call and all visible flames were out on my arrival. There was concern about a homeless man living in the attic but primary and secondary searches of the home found no one in the building. The fire marshal is on the scene investigating.
New Haven News: Homicide
#New Haven CT–A man shot earlier at 465 Winthrop Avenue has passed away and detectives are now investigating this as a homicide. This is New Haven’s second shooting Saturday night.
Pedestrian Hit On Moses Wheeler Bridge
10:42pm–#cttraffic–I-95 southbound is at a crawl with a pedestrian that was hit by a car. Initial reports say he has a broken leg and may have fallen off the bridge near the railroad tracks. The person is out of the water, rescued on the Milford side.
