Westport News: Slow Speed Pursuit Into Fairfield
10:02pm–#Westport CT–Westport Police attempted to stop a car on motor vehicle charges on the Post Road. When officers approached the vehicle the car took off in a slow speed pursuit. They caught up with the driver when he pulled over and cooperated with the officers in front of the Southport Brewery in Fairfield. The man was ticket and released.

3:22pm–#cttraffic–#Stratford CT–A crash between a car and truck I-95 northbound on the Moses Wheeler Bridge blocking traffic in the right lane. There are reported injuries.

Malloy is directing U.S. and State of Connecticut flags to be flown at half-staff in the state in honor of the four United States Marines and a United States Navy officer slain in a Chattanooga, Tennessee shooting. The Governor and Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman released the following statement:
“Connecticut and the nation stands with the people of Tennessee and the many communities that have been devastated by this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims as they are laid to rest – and with the states across the nation who are mourning the loss of their citizens.”
Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset on Tuesday, July 21.
Bridgeport News: Shots Fired
1:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–A citizen heard about 8-10 shots fired in the area Sherwood Avenue- Fairfield Avenue (the Rescue Mission)area. Shell casings have been found. No reports of anyone a parked car has been hit. Police are looking for a red car with tinted windows responsible.
