4:50pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters knock down a fire in the wall behind a dryer at 67 Seltsam Road.

12:10pm–#Bridgeport CT–Reports of about 8 shots fired on Stratford Avenue near Central Avenue by a white vehicle. So far only a car window is reported shot out. Police on scene called it in. The shooters are pretty braze, the car fled towards Orange Street.

9:49pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters were called to 754/756 Maplewood Avenue for a structure fire. Firefighters found smoke on arrival. The fire was in the walls in the back of the building on the second and third floors. Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames and opened up the walls to make sure the fire was completely out. There were no reported injuries.
8:33pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at the apartments at 263 Ellsworth Street, the victim closed the door to their apartment on them avoiding the robbery. Police are looking for two males, unknown race. Both were thin build. The gunman wore a black hoodie and had a white t-shirt with writing on it wrapped around his face. The other had a dark sweatshirt and had a mask over his face.

As a result of the investigation Stratford Police detectives arrested 28 year-old Michelle Sulzicki in connection with this investigation. Sulzicki turned herself into Stratford Police on October 14, 2015. She was unable to post her $100,000 bond and was transported to Superior Court in Bridgeport.
Sulzicki was charged with:
53a70 Sexual Assault First Degree
53a-71 Sexual Assault Second Degree
53-21 (a)(2) Illegal Sexual Contact with Minor
53-21 Risk of Injury to Minor
