UPDATE: Firefighters reporting it is NOT propane and they cannot identify what is in the tank causing a large vapor cloud. The fire marshal has been requested to the scene. Contact for the building cannot be made. Fire marshal is reporting that it might be liquid oxygen. Nobody light anything!
11:11pm–Firefighters on scene at St. Vincent Health Care at 3272 Main Street where there is a vapor cloud in the back of the facility, possibly from the gas tank in the back of the structure. Firefighters are investigating.
7:11pm–#Stratford CT– Firefighters in Stratford remain busy. A garage fire that extended into house at the corner of Porter Street and Albert Avenue. Police were first on scene and evacuated the people in the house.
Middletown, CT (October 28, 2015) – On April 23, 2015 Detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Hartford Police Department, executed a search and seizure warrant at 110 South St. in Hartford as part of an on-going child pornography investigation.State Police detectives initiated the investigation after receiving information that the accused, Tyler Kozak (a.k.a. TylerElster-Kozak), shared a link containing visual depictions of suspected child pornography.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant from the superior court. Upon conducting the search, detectives seized laptop computers, memory devices, a cell phone, tablet and 8mm tape. During the forensic examinations of the seized items numerous Images and videos of suspected child pornography were located.
On September 9, 2015 detectives obtained an arrest warrant from the superior court for Tyler Kozak (DOB 6/14/94) in relation to the investigation. Tyler Kozak is wanted for Possession of Child Pornography and Promoting a Minor in an Obscene Performance.

3:31pm–#Bridgeport CT–A black Mercedes drove up close to a ten year old girl with the door open at Glendale and Ameridge Drive. The car then fled on Ameridge towards Vincellette Street according to radio reports. Police are investigating.
#Bridgeport, Conn. (October 28, 2015) — Today, the Bridgeport Police Department is reporting that a second victim was wounded as part of a shooting that took place last night on Washington Ave. near the corner of Highland Ave.
The second victim, a 27 year-old male, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle. He is in stable condition.
Background: On October 27, 2015 at approximately 7:15 p.m., police officers responded to a call regarding shots fired on Washington Ave. near the corner of Highland Ave. Upon arrival, police officers found one victim, a 22 year-old male, suffering from one gunshot wound to the stomach. He was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in an ambulance. He is in stable condition.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident and following reports of three hooded males as suspects in this case. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the Bridgeport Police Department at (203) 581-5201.
3:39pm–#Stratford CT– A burning power line across the street from Booth Memorial Park at Manor Hill Road and Main Street has the road closed until UI can take care of the situation.
2:36pm–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters respond to a fire in the duct work at the grill area at 130 John Street. Fire is quickly extinguished. Health department called to the scene.
12:54pm–#Bridgeport CT– A two car crash at 1475 Barnum Avenue, a car has hit a fence near a structure but there was no entry made into the building according to radio reports.
12:27pm–#cttraffic–#Trumbull CT–A van has reportedly hit a light pole on Route 8 northbound at exit 9 knocking the pole down. No reports if it is slowing or blocking traffic.
