Bridgeport News: Fireworks Being Set Off In Apartment Building

6:45pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police and Firefighters dispatched to 24 Circular Avenue for a report of structure fire which is apparently caused by kids setting off fireworks set off on the third floor. They have fled the scene.

Westport News: Red Bull Theft

#Westport CT–December 4th, 2015 Westport Officers responded to the Shelton Police Department and took custody of Christopher Freer (age 36), for an outstanding larceny arrest warrant held by this Department. The arrest warrant stems from a larceny complaint back on August 28th of this year where the suspect had ran out of the Stop and Shop store with 12 four packs of Red Bull. The suspect, who was being followed by a store employee, then dumped the items in the parking lot before entering a waiting car. The store employee then recovered the stolen merchandise, some of which was damaged from being dropped by the suspect. Using the store video footage of the incident, and with the assistance from the Shelton Police Department, Freer was identified as the suspect.

Arrested was Christopher Freer (age 36) of Ansonia Connecticut Freer was charged with Larceny 6th C.G.S 53a-125b Freer posted a $500 bond and was assigned a court date December 14th, 2015 at Norwalk Court. (Westport Police Press Release)

Bridgeport News: Roommate Choked With Hammer Over Stolen Pills

5:49pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police are on the way to 65 Oakview Circle for a roommate choking the other roommate with a hammer after arguing over stolen pills according to radio reports.

Staples Wrestling Coach Arrested For Drugs

On Saturday December 5th, 2015 at approximately 1:15 AM a Westport Officer on patrol on Post Road East initiated a motor vehicle stop after observing the vehicle cross the double yellow lines. A computer check for the operator revealed that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in Court. During the arrest, an officer located a small clear plastic bag of cocaine in a cigarette pack in the vehicle. The suspect, David Bernstein (age 28) was additionally charged with illegal possession of a narcotic.

Arrested was David Bernstein (age 28) of Fairfield Connecticut Bernstein was charged with Failure to Appear 2nd C.G.S 53a-172 Possession of Narcotics C.G.S 21a-279(a) Bernstein posted $2500 bond for the Failure to Appear arrest and $1000 for the Narcotic Charge. He was issued a court date of December 15th 2015 at Norwalk Court.

3:15pm–#Fairfield CT– Two school buses with children on board collided in the parking lot at Tomlinson Middle School. Police said the impact was very minor and no children were injured.

Who wants a warm up???

Good morning everyone… so this was suppose to post last night but for some reason it never posted as scheduled. Sorry for the delay!
No snow in sight my friends… actually we might be close to record warmth by the end of the week. Mid to high 50’s for December!! who would have thought??? Not us!
The only long range chance of snow is on New Years Eve lol… but that is soooo far away! Dont count your chickens on that one!

Enjoy this pretty quiet pattern we are in. Cool mornings, mild days! Looking at a chance for some showers Thursday afternoon but Friday we clear out and the weekend is not looking so bad!
