Bridgeport News: Chief Gaudette Stepping Down?

#Bridgeport CT– Multiple posts on Facebook are saying that Chief Gaudette will be stepping down as chief of police and accepting another position within the police department.  The posts also say that Captain A.J. Perez will become the new Chief of Police.  This is NOT official.

Bridgeport News: Rollover Crash Driver Hit By Car

12:31pm–#cttraffic–#Bridgeport CT–A two car crash with rollover on I-95 northbound before exit 26.  According to numerous radio reports then say one of the drivers now out of the car crosses over the southbound side and was struck by another car.  The person hit was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital with unknown  injuries.

Bridgeport News: “Man” Stabs Girlfriend

9:12pm–#Bridgeport CT– A “man” at 571 Arctic Street on the 2nd floor allegedly stabs his girlfriend.  There were little kids in the home according to radio reports.  When police arrived the “man” had already fled.  He returned shortly after midnight and police apprehended him.

Fairfield News: Leakage, Odor, Alarm

8:20pm–#cttraffic–#Fairfield CT–Firefighters on scene at the rest stop on I-95 Fairfield, northbound I believe, but not positives because DOT turned off the cameras, but leave them on for a rollover.  Go figure.  Any who there was an alarm, a report of leakage of a liquid under one of the doors and a smell of natural gas.  Firefighters reporting it is coming from the state police office.
