40K!

I remember when 5,000 Likes on Facebook were a big deal.  Now with 40,000 our weekly viewership in the last two weeks average over a quarter million LOCAL viewers each week!  I have over 20,000 more Likes than the “other” news source and they don’t even have 20,000 Likes!  They are a corporation, part of the Hearst Publication with so many more resources.  I’m a one man show.  They have 60% more posts than me but 6 times more engagement so I’m delivering what you want to know about!  Thanks for being a part of it all!

Bridgeport News: Bridgeport’s 4th Homicide Another Doozy

Bridgeport Police Press Release: Last night, at about 2040 hours, three men were driving passed a group that was congregating in front of 32/34 Jane Street, when several people from the group threw rocks and a brick at the car, smashing the windshield and passenger’s window. The victim, Edy Morales (DOB 6/20/75 of 473 William Street), was seated in the passenger’s seat at the time of the attack and was struck in the head by the brick. The driver took Morales to Bridgeport Hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Anyone with information should contact Detective Heanue at 203-581-5242.

8:41pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A couple weeks ago the city’s 3rd homicide was when a tractor trailer driver allegedly ran over his victim.  Tonight’s homicide is also unusual.  A Jamaican man was sitting in a vehicle in front of 31 Jane Street.  Witnesses confirmed previous radio reports that kids were throwing rocks and one hit the man sitting in the car, hitting him in the neck,  striking an artery and the man bled out.  He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle but he passed before he arrived at the hospital sources tell me.  I spoke with Chief Perez who could not confirm as he is waiting to hear from detectives who had just arrived on the scene.  I normally report right away but this call was unusual and it took a while for police to locate a crime scene.
