12:00am–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Police are investigating a number of parked cars that were struck by a hit an run driver on Boston/East Avenue area.  The driver left their front bumper with plate at the scene.

9:11pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A person called police that while he was at the Wave Gas Station at 1235 Park Avenue he was robbed at gunpoint and pistol whipped.

8:45pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Teens rolled over a stolen car on East Main Street near Beardsley Park entrance then fled on foot.

8:40pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A Texas Avenue resident was outside shoveling snow  and warming up their car when it was stolen.

7:40pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Detectives are investigating another death on Palisades Avenue, this time at 525 Palisades.  The person was found unresponsive.  On Thursday detectives investigated the homicide of Noel Esbri, 33 of 360 Palisade Avenue.

 

6:06pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A pedestrian was hit at Fairfield Avenue and Middle Street.  No word on the extent of injuries.

4:40pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Raymond, a man from New York did like a lot of families in the area did –  travel to Bridgeport’s Bass Pro Shop to do their Christmas Shopping.   But this time a real life Grinch broke into his van and took all the families Christmas presents.  Raymond was teary eyed an visibly upset.  A customer was with him consoling him when he had his van parked next to the store. He refused money from the customer.  Raymond began telling me what was taken when Bridgeport Police arrived to take his statement.  I was able to get the man’s number and will try to coordinate with the other media, the city council and of course you the public to see if we can help save his Christmas.  Who’s with me?
