10:01pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A shot was fired into the air after an attempted robbery of a woman at 341 Trumbull Avenue buy two young males. Earlier there was a report of shots fired on Trumbull Avenue, and then again on Trumbull Gardens but no one or anything was reported hit.

10:47am–#Fairfield Connecticut– Fairfield Firefighters rescued a dog after falling through the ice on a pond at Robert Lane. Assistant Chief George Gomola said the dog owner was smart in not trying to rescue the dog himself, possibly becoming a victim himself. Gomola said the ice is deceiving, appearing safe when it is not.
