3:25pm–#Fairfield CT– A man with a knife barricaded himself in a Pell Meadow Road home after a domestic dispute. Police said they made contact with him and he surrendered without incident. He was transported to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
The Fairfield Police Department is seeking to identify a male involved in several indecent exposure incidents that occurred at Jennings Beach in Fairfield on 09/05/17 and 09/23/17 between the hours of 11:00am and 1:00pm. 1:00am–#Bridgeport CT– A customer has stabbed another at the Avenue Cafe at 1801 Barnum Avenue according to police radio reports. Police say they have one person detained but have no victim at this time.
9:40pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police’s quick response allows them to apprehend two males after a brief foot pursuit. The suspects attempted to rob the Success Deli at 184 Success Avenue.
#Fairfield CT– UPDATE from police on a report we were first to tell you about:
On Monday 09/25/17 at 4:40pm, the Fairfield Police Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a customer at Bed Bath & Beyond who stated that she just exited the store and found a man lying in the parking lot, bleeding from his head screaming for help.
Further investigation into the incident revealed that the victim, who works in a nearby business, was walking to his vehicle at the end of his workday and noticed someone inside of it. Realizing the suspect was committing a larceny, the victim confronted him. The suspect exited the victim’s car and got into what was described as a black Ford F-250 pickup truck with NY registration plates and attempted to flee the scene. The victim grabbed on to the moving truck and was thrown to the ground and struck by the fleeing suspect vehicle. Patrols searched the area for the suspect vehicle but were unable to locate it.
The vehicle was last seen by a witness traveling eastbound on Kings Hwy East towards Grasmere Avenue. The victim was transported to St. Vincent’s Medical Center by AMR for serious but non-life threatening injuries to both lower legs. 4:39pm–#Fairfield CT– Police said a man interrupted a larceny to his vehicle while parked at Bed Bath and Beyond and had his feet run over as the suspects fled. Police are looking for black pickup truck with New York plates who hit the victim after fleeing the scene reportedly heading on I-95.
4:25pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police are looking for a black male in a red shirt on the Bell Street/Seaview Avenue area after short pursuit in the Boston Avenue area. They have the driver in custody. It is not know what they were wanted for.
11:08am–#Bridgeport CT– A water main break with road collapse reported at Park and Washington Avenue. For some reason the media goes crazy over water main breaks so expect a media onslaught soon.
