Norwalk CT– Shooting Arrest
#Norwalk CT–On September 8, 2017 at 11:03 pm, Norwalk Police responded to the Bow Tie Cinemas at 542 Westport Avenue for a male who had negligently shot himself in the leg. Arriving officers located Theo Thomopoulos inside the lobby suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg. Officers seized a 9mm handgun from Thomopoulos, who wastransported to the Norwalk Hospital for treatment. No one else was injured during the incident. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued for Thomopoulos, who turned himself in at police headquarters on October 5, 2017.
Arrested: Theo Thomopoulos, 51 of 19 Congress Street Shelton
Charges: Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Reckless Endangerment 2 and Breach of Peace 2 Bond: $25,000

Stratford News: Narcotics Arrest
#Stratford CT–During the year the Stratford Police Narcotics, Vice and Intelligence Unit received numerous neighborhood complaints of drug activity ongoing at the Stony Brook Bar and Restaurant located at 825 Success Avenue in Stratford. An investigation was initiated where it was determined the bar’s owner, Angelo Recine along with bartender, Laurie Herb were trafficking cocaine from the bar. Detectives conducted numerous buys of cocaine from the bar. As a result search warrants were executed on 10-12- 2017 at the bar as well as Herb’ss and Recine’s residence. Angelo Recine (DOB 09/26/1949) of Bridgeport was charged with a total of (3) counts of Sales of Cocaine (1) Count of Operating a Drug Factory Laurie Herb (DOB 04/28/1966) of Stratford was charged with a total of (4) counts Sales of Cocaine. Recine posted a $25,000 dollar bond and Herb posted a $10,000 dollar bond. Each is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 10-20- 2017.
Detectives seized Cocaine packaged for sale, US currency in the amount of approximately $3500, Items used for the preparing and packaging of narcotics for street sale and suspected Cocaine with a total packaged weight of approximately 4 ounces of Cocaine was found both at the Recine residence and inside the bar.

11:30PMish–#Bridgeport CT– First responders were called to Dewey and Maplewood Avenue for a serious 3 car crash. Witness said one of the vehicles allegedly ran a stop sign. Radio reports said they located one of the accident victims down the street in the 200 block of Dewey Street. I saw two people transported by EMS but there may be more injured. It took firefighters about twenty minutes to extricate the people trapped in the cars.
