11:30AMish– #Bridgeport CT–At approximately 11:30 am at Spring and East Main St. Adult male victim was standing by the front driver’s side of a car that was parked facing west on Spring St. The incident occurred at the northeast corner of the intersection. An unknown male walking westbound on Spring St fired 3 shots at the victim, who was struck in the right shin. There were no shell casings left at the scene. A cell phone and blood spots were located at the scene. The victim was transported by private vehicle to Bridgeport hospital. The victim suffered nonlife-threatening injuries to his leg.

9:00pm–#Bridgeport CT– A woman driving by five corners on Madison Avenue noticed a disoriented elderly woman, stopped and is waiting for first responders to arrive. Way to go!

Stratford Police Update: On Saturday 11/25/2017 at around 3:48 P.M. Stratford police and K-9 units along with other agencies’ assisted State Troopers in trying to apprehend suspects who were operating a stolen vehicle and fled the scene of a crash that took place on the Merritt parkway. The suspects then stole another vehicle in Stratford, subsequently crashed and fled again on foot. A search of the area was negative for the suspects. The Stratford Police are currently investigating and following all leads. There is no further information at this time.
4:11pm–#Stratford CT– There was a five-car crash on the Merritt Parkway southbound near the near James Farm accident that had the highway shut down for a period of time. The crash involved a state trooper. Minor injuries were reported.
