#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating a break-in to the portable Pods that were located outside the Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship with other 800 toys stolen. Pastor Eric Torres, Director for the Toys For Tots said the locks were cut from the Pods that were donated by Connecticut Pods. The remainder of the toys were brought inside. Pastor Torres said the toys were scheduled to be distributed on December 15th but that will probably delay the distribution. Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship also gave out hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies at the start of the school year.

6:39pm–#Bridgeport CT– A man was robbed at gunpoint by two males at Washington Terrace and Park Avenue by two males who then followed him to Park and Wood Avenue.
On November 29, 2018 at 8:41pm, Patrol Division Officers responded to a reported robbery at the Stop and Shop located at 385 Connecticut Avenue. The caller stated that the male suspect stated he was in possession of a firearm and demanded money. The clerk refused and the suspect then fled the store with a stolen pack of cigarettes. Arriving officers scoured the area however the suspect was not located. However a witness was able to identify the suspect as Shawn Oliphant. Norwalk Detectives assumed the investigation and quickly confirmed Oliphant was in fact the suspect. Detectives determined that Oliphant was at a location in Stamford. With the assistance of the Stamford Police Department, Detectives located Oliphant and took him into custody without incident.

#Norwalk CT– On November 20, 2018 at 4:07 pm, officers were dispatched to the Norwalk Courthouse at 17 Belden Avenue. State Judicial Marshals had reported that the victim of a stabbing had collapsed inside the front doors of the courthouse.
Arriving officers located an 18-year-old male victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Norwalk Hospital. It was quickly determined that the stabbing had occurred across the street at 24 Belden Avenue. A search of the area was conducted for potential suspect(s) however no one was taken into custody.
Norwalk Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit responded and began processing the crime scene and collecting evidence. Detectives quickly developed persons of interest for this crime and determined that the assault was the result of a drug-related robbery. Based on their investigation, arrest warrants were issued for the suspects.
The three suspects were arrested by Norwalk Detectives on November 29, 2018. The victim is recovering from his injuries and has been released from the hospital.
