2019-03-20 @ 12:52pm– A pursuit on Chopsey Hill, Old Town Road and into Trumbull and back into Bridgeport came to an end on Chattam Terrace. Police quickly apprehended the driver, two of the passengers fled on foot but were quickly located and taken into custody. According to radio reports, two of them were juveniles and were transported to the junvinelle hall. The car was wanted for possible weapons in the car.

Firefighters arrived to find the fire out, they ensure it was out and that it did not extend anywhere else in the house. The fire marshal was called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

#Westport CT–On 03/18/2019 at approximately 12:00am, Westport officers responded to Stop Shop, 1790 Post Road East, on a complaint of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned two men had banged on the store doors with a pipe. They claimed to have been assaulted and asked to be let in. The store manager would not let the men inside, but offered to contact police. The men declined and left on foot, eastbound. Officers searched the area and located the men in the parking lot of Home Goods, 1850 Post Road East, after hearing what sounded like someone dropping a metal pipe on the pavement. The two men claimed they had just been assaulted at 1655 Post Road East.
Officers learned the two victims had traveled to Westport to meet with a woman they had been speaking with through an app. When they arrived at 1655 Post Road East, the woman led them between two buildings near the rear of the complex where they were attacked by a masked male with a metal pipe. The victims were able to gain control of the pipe and were chased from the scene. One of the victims sustained severe injuries to his arm and was transported to Norwalk Hospital. The other victim suffered minor injury and declined medical treatment. The victims provided a phone number and photo of the female involved, whom officers were able to identify as Reign Kinseley, 18, of Westport, CT. Officers learned Kinseley had set the victims up for a friend, later identified as Askia Sierra, with whom she was reported to be in the company of that evening. Officers responded to the residence of Askia Sierra, which is located directly behind the 1655 Post Road East housing complex. Upon arrival, they were met outside by Kinseley.
Kinseley was taken into custody and brought to police headquarters where she was charged with 53a-48 Conspiracy to Commit (Assault 1 st ). She was released after posting $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court on 03/25/2019. Askia Sierra, 22, of 7 Oakview Lane was arrested at his home and brought to police headquarters where he was charged with 53a-59 Assault 1 st and 53a-48 Conspiracy to Commit (Assault 1 st ). He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and will be transported to Norwalk Court for arraignment later this morning.

#Trumbull CT–Trumbull Police continue to investigate several thefts from vehicles that occurred over the weekend while the cars were parked overnight in residential driveways and other instances where cars were stolen from those same areas. On Saturday morning, March 16th, more than a dozen Trumbull residents of the Long Hill area found that their vehicles had been gone through and items stolen during the overnight hours. Most of these vehicles were left unlocked, and a few had the keys left inside. Two vehicles were stolen during this time, but were later recovered in Fairfield. One vehicle was found abandoned, while the other was occupied by three Juveniles and one adult, who were then arrested and charged with the vehicle theft. This recent crime spree has been a recurring pattern that is affecting the entire area. Police believe the suspects, usually teenagers in a stolen vehicle, travel in small groups into secluded neighborhoods during the late night and early morning hours. They stop and exit the vehicle, and prowl around a neighborhood checking for unlocked vehicles, searching for items to steal. When they come across a vehicle with a key left inside, they will often abandon the vehicle they came in and take the newly found one. The Trumbull Police continue to remind all residents to always lock their vehicles and never leave keys or valuables inside. 2019-03-18 #Bridgeport CT–The Bridgeport Police Department is attempting to identify the suspect and victim from this assault and possible abduction that occurred at 2225 Main St. (Cambridge Apartments) on March 16, 2019, at 2226 hours. The victim was dragged and forced to get in the dark-colored vehicle at the top of the screen next to the fire hydrant. The victim and offender have not been identified and police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating both individuals. The Norwalk Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for Herman Lee Colter, a 52 year old male who is 5’-9”, 190 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black leather hat, black jacket, red hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants and black shoes.
He was last seen at Flax Hill Park at 4:45pm today. Anyone who observes Mr. Colter is asked to call 911.

(March 14, 2019): The Connecticut State Police K9 Unit is proud to announce the graduation of its 200th K9 Training Troop. The Troop consisted of seven K9 Teams from throughout the United States and specialized in Electronic Storage Device Detection. The graduation will take place this Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at the State Police Academy located at 285 Preston Avenue, Meriden, Connecticut. The Connecticut State Police K9 Unit trained the world’s first electronic storage device detection K9 in 2012 utilizing a proprietary training methodology and curriculum. Since that time, demand for the specialized electronic storage detection or ESD K9’s has grown exponentially. The specialized ESD K9’s assist with counter terror, child pornography, organized crime, and other related investigations by sniffing out evidence stored on concealed electronic media storage devices such as thumb drives, SD cards, hard drives, cellular telephones, etc. The K9’s were all selected by the Connecticut State Police K9 Training Unit Cadre and underwent 5 weeks of preliminary training with CSP K9 Instructors before being paired with their respective handlers for an additional 5 week training and certification course of instruction.
