2020-01-26@1:10am–#Bridgeport CT– Bridgeport shot spotter reported shots fired on James Street and Calhoun Street. Police then received a call that the victim was being transported by private vehicle to the hospital. Police then received a call that the victim is in the 60 block of Cottage Street (don’t ask, I don’t know why). She was shot in the back of the head but she was alert and talking with EMS.
UPDATE: The owner of the building showed up and said the damage they were investigating was from a previous accident!
2020-01-25@11:41pm–#Bridgeport CT– One person was injured and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after he hit the European Granite and Marble at 1100 Boston Avenue. The siding of the building was pushed in.
2020-01-25@9:11pm–#Westport CT–#Fairfield CT–#cttraffic– There are two accident scenes on I-95 southbound between exits 19 and 18. On scene is on the left shoulder and the other in the right shoulder. A total of 7 cars involved, all reported to minor crashes with no reported injuries.

#Bridgeport CT–On January 23, 2020, at 1130AM, detectives from the Bridgeport Police robbery/burglary squad observed Alison Hohn 6/10/84 walking on Eaton St. Hohn had been wanted for questioning in a number of burglaries in the north end of Bridgeport and in Fairfield and detectives were conducting surveillance in the area in response to a recent spike of residential burglaries.
Hohn was observed forcing entry into a residence on Eaton Street and was taken into custody inside the home. Detectives were assisted by members of the Bridgeport Police patrol division and Fairfield Police.
Hohn confessed to four burglaries in the area and has been linked to five additional burglaries in Bridgeport and Fairfield. He has been charged with 1 count of burglary and arrest warrants are pending for additional burglaries committed in the area.
Police UPDATE:
At 2017hrs on Saturday 1/25/20 there was a reported street fight that took place in the 1600th block of Park Avenue. A male party was lacerated on his right forearm with a box cutter by another male party. The suspect fled the scene before BPD arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital for a non-life threatening injury. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Bridgeport Police at 203-576-TIPS.
2020-01-25@8:24pm–#Bridgeport CT– A person was stabbed in or near the Sunshine Kitchen Deli at 1615 Park Avenue. The suspect fled in an older Nissan south on Park Avenue.
