Norwalk News: Man Shot

#Norwalk CT– On April 14, 2023, at 11:48pm, Norwalk Combined Dispatch received multiple calls reporting shots fired in the area of 30 Day Street. Patrol Division Officers responded to the area and located a crime scene. A short time later Combined Dispatch received a call from Norwalk Hospital reporting a male who arrived at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Norwalk Detectives are actively investigating this incident. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact Detective Sura at 203-854-3039. Bridgeport News: Bus With SHU Students Collide With A Car

2023-04-15@7:35pm–#Bridgeport CT– A number of students will have more than just their spring fling to remember as their bus collided with a vehicle at Capital and Lincoln Boulevard. All the students reported being uninjured.

We were able to see the city’s resources in action. Rescue Five utilized a set of dollies that went under the tires and allowed the firefighters to maneuver the car 45 degrees from the front of the bus. Firefighters then used their fairly new set of cordless Hurst Jaws of Life to remove the driver’s door to help get him out of the car. The driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Fairfield News: Shots Fired At Diner

2023-04-15@4:00am–#Fairfield CT–A viewer messaged me that at 4 am he drove by Andros Diner at  651 Villa Avenue and said he saw crime scene tape and shell casing markers on the ground. I reached out to Lieutenant Michael Paris of the Fairfield Police who said in an email “A disturbance that turned into shots being fired from a vehicle. Nobody was struck and the suspects are outstanding with an investigation underway”.

Fairfield News: House Fire

2023-04-14@12:04pm–It’s a good thing for the homeowners in the 800 block of Westport Turnpike that Fairfield firefighters still go to house fires despite what top town officials saying they don’t. Assistant George Gomola reported heavy fire on arrival. Firefighters had the fire under control within a half hour.

Fairfield Firefighters have been without a contract for 2 years now.
