2023-02-13@9:20pm–#Bridgeport CT– First responders were called to Greene Homes, Building 1 for 3 people found unresponsive due to overdoses in an apartment. They found 1 in cardiac arrest and 2 in respiratory arrest. Their condition is unknown at this time. There were also 2 children in the apartment who were being treated by AMR, their condition is unknown but the chief said they would be okay.
Trumbull Police charged two (2) juvenile males after they ran from a stolen car that was parked
at the Trumbull Mall, on Monday, February 13. The sixteen (16) year old suspects, both from
Bridgeport, were arrested and charged for their involvement in this incident.
At approximately 1:00 PM, Trumbullofficers were notified that a stolen 2021 Kia Sportage was
driving on mall property. The vehicle had been reported stolen to the New Haven police on
February 1st.
As the two (2) juvenile suspects were attempting to re-enter the stolen Kia,
officers approached them, but both suspects fled the area and ran inside of the mall with
Trumbull officers engaged in a foot pursuit. Both juvenile suspects were eventually
apprehended by police inside of JC Penney. One of the apprehended suspects was wearing an
ankle monitor bracelet as the result of a previous arrest. The recovered Kia was found to have
significant damage to its steering column, and had a USB cord attached to the ignition.
The teens were then transported to Trumbull Police Headquarters, where they were charged
with Larceny 1st degree, Interfering with Police, and Disorderly Conduct. They were later
released to the custody of their parents on a Promise to Appear in Bridgeport Juvenile Court on
February 14, 2023.

Many might be quick to blame the truck for taking down the wires but it’s actually the utility company’s fault for not maintaining proper height for the wires which include allowing a truck to safely pass under them.

2023-02-12@10:10am– Firefighters were called to a structure fire in the 1700 block of North Avenue.
Firefighters on the scene reported a fire in a 2nd-floor ceiling, the fire held to 2 rooms on the 2nd floor. Red Cross to assist with the relocation of 4 adults from the 2nd floor. There were no injuries and the fire marshal on the scene investigated the cause and origin of the fire.

2023-02-11@2:34pm–#Bridgeport CT– A pickup truck flipped over in a crash at Lafayette and Gregory Street. The driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Neighbors complained that the situation is due to there being only one stop sign on Gregory Street and that people often drive at high rates of speed on Lafayette Street.
