Bridgeport News: Pedestrian Struck

On November 14th, 2023, at approximately 10:30 PM, the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center received several calls regarding a serious incident involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was found lying on the ground at the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Bishop Avenue. Emergency responders, including American Medical Response, the Bridgeport Fire Department, and Bridgeport Police officers, all arrived at the scene to investigate. Preliminary reports suggest that the victim may have been struck by a vehicle; however, a suspect vehicle has not been fully identified at this time.

The 54-year-old victim from Bridgeport was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for the serious injuries sustained at the scene.

Don’t Light A Cigarette While On Oxygen

2023-11-15@3:20pm–#Milford CT– A Crestwood Drive resident on oxygen lit a cigarette while on oxygen. They are reporting that the fire is out but that there is smoke and ash all over the place according to radio reports. There are no reported injuries.

Norwalk News: Stolen Vehicles

Since January 1, 2023, there have been eighty-seven motor vehicles stolen from different residents within the City of Norwalk. Of those eighty-seven, fifty-five vehicles had the keys left in the car. Norwalk Police Officers continue to work diligently to arrest suspects in these cases and locate the vehicles.


We implore the Norwalk community to ALWAYS lock all car doors and remove all valuables from within. NEVER leave keys or fobs anywhere in the vehicle, no matter how well you think they are hidden, or even if you believe the vehicle is blocked in.

At the same time, your heroes also helped with a truck hitting a gas station island on Fairfield Avenue, A medical call on North Avenue, a crash on Route 8/25, and another medical call on Wood Avenue!
