6:19pm–#Bridgeport CT–Motorcyclist hit at Chopsey Hill Road and Island Brook Extension.  Motorcyclist on the way to Bridgeport Hospital, extent of injuries unknown.

2:18pm–#Norwalk CT–Report of a swing ride collapse with numerous injuries at the Oyster Festival.  Firefighters on scene, no entrapment as initially reported. 13 children reported injured.

2:05pm–#Norwalk CT–Today’s #nakedman is in Norwalk at the train Station on Monroe Street, southbound side in the bathroom.  Naked and unconscious.

8:19pm–#Easton CT–A Sport Hill resident called police that a car made a U-turn in her drive and then left with their hazard lights on……

6:48pm–#Bridgeport CT–A larceny suspect was caught red handed by the owner and a police officer at Brookside Package Store, 4555 Main Street.

6:10pm–#Bridgeport CT–A man in the 2200 block of Park Avenue is reporting that a flat screen TV set was taken from his apartment.  Be attentive if you live in the area.

Hello, my name is Alyson and I am one of the victims of the fire at 235 French Street in Bridgeport this past Friday. First I wanted to thank the police, firefighters, neighbors and U-Haul that all came to our assistance that morning. My fiancé and I could have lost a lot more than just our belongings. The main reason I am writing is that I feel that everyone should be made aware of one of my neighbors who went above and beyond to help us. Councilman Angel dePara Jr. recently moved off French Street and while he was a neighbor was always helpful when we had a problem. I was informed by Red Cross that Councilman dePara went out of his way to contact us and see what supplies and help we may be in need of. On Friday evening Angel and his girlfriend Randi Jimenez stopped by with food for us and helped for hours as we emptied our apartment of the belongings we could salvage. They helped pack up our stuff and even with the loading the U-Haul truck way into the night. I felt that I needed to give him some sort of recognition as I am sure that while most people may ask what a fire victim may be in need of, Councilman Angel dePara went above and beyond to help us in our hour of need. 7:05pm–#Fairfield CT–Firefighters on scene at 161 Forest Avenue for a fire on the outside, left rear  of the 4 family home.  They have evacuated the home and checking for extensions in the basement.

1:49pm–#Stratford CT–Police are looking for a burgundy Explorer van after a domestic incident on Bruce Avenue.  The suspect took out a gun during the argument and then fled down Bruce Avenue in the van.  Police activity in the area including #Bridgeport.

10:52pm–#Bridgeport CT–Report of a woman Shot at East Main and Essex Street. First responders on the way.  Initial reports say she was shot in the arm.
