6:57pm–#Bridgeport CT–A customer was in a heated argument with the manager at the VIP Car Wash at 1839 Main Street and is now blocking the entrance to business with his car.  Police on the way.  Two calls for two different car washes in two different towns……

11:44pm–#Ansonia CT–#cttraffic–One car spin out near exit 19 Route 8 northbound. Firefighters on scene.

(Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 11, 2013) – A city woman was charged with evading responsibility after a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

Officer Stacey Lyons responded to the intersection of Hawthorne Street and Glenwood Avenue on a report of a pedestrian struck Tuesday evening.

Lyons spoke to an independent witness and received a possible license plate number of the vehicle. The officer also reviewed security footage from a nearby condominium complex that showed the pedestrian being struck.

Lyons went the house where the car was registered and spoke to the owner.

Pauline Daniel, 60, stated that she had been driving on Hawthorn and Glenwood earlier but stated she didn’t strike a pedestrian. Lyons observed two hand imprints on the hood of the car.

Daniel was given a misdemeanor summons for evading responsibility and failure to grant the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The injuries to the pedestrian did not appear to be serious.

1:26am–#Norwalk CT–Report of a motorcycle crash in front of the city hall with a broken leg.  Police on scene reporting it is just the motorcycle that crashed with no other vehicle involved.

5:31pm–#Bridgeport CT–Smoke in Building 19 apartment 205 at PT Barnum Housing on Anthony Street due to an oven fire. Sounds like plan B dinner at Lil’ Moe’s

12:37am–#Bridgeport CT–#nakedman–Report of a man getting undressed the redressing at North Avenue and Lindley Street.  He’s also going in and out of traffic.

12:16pm–#Bridgeport CT–Man wanted on warrants brought to the Bridgeport Police Station by bounty hunter….unknown if the bounty hunter’s  name was Dog.  I’ve been doing this for 4 years now and this is a first for me!

8:58pm–#Ansonia CT–Report of an odor of gas at Platt and Hodge Avenue.  Here come the firetrucks!

7:24pm–#Norwalk CT–Report of a kitchen fire at 46 Fair Street.  Firefighters on the way.
