Bottling Up Some Serious Trouble At The Wine Store
On October 26, 2023, 56-year-old John Reynolds was arrested at Total Wines and More after causing $12,000 in damages by breaking glass and Patron bottles, resulting in charges for Breach of Peace 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree.
On the 26th of October 2023, at 10:48, Officer Robinson responded to a disturbance at Total Wines and More located at 230 Cherry Street. John Reynolds, a 56-year-old male, was arrested for Breach of Peace 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. Reynolds had caused damage estimated at $12,000 by breaking glass and Patron bottles after forcefully accessing the locked case in the store. He was detained after being found with some bottles in his cart and others broken on the ground. Reynolds is scheduled to appear in court on the 23rd of November 2023.

Milford News: Drug Possession and Warrants
#Milford CT– On October 11, 2023, Officer Studdard was working near 1201 Boston Post Road. At approximately 1841 hours, he saw Jeffrey Yu exit a car and go into the mall. Officer Studdard knew Yu from past experiences and was aware that there was a warrant for his arrest.
Upon returning to his vehicle, Yu was approached by officers and asked to get out of his car. Yu refused to do this and resisted arrest. After a struggle, officers were able to get him out of the vehicle and place him under arrest. During the arrest, officers discovered that Yu was carrying drugs and drug-related items.
Further investigation showed that Yu was also facing several other charges from previous incidents. These included avoiding police, driving a vehicle under suspension, using an unregistered vehicle, not having insurance, two counts of failing to show up to court when scheduled, and not following probation rules.
Now, Jeffrey Yu is held with a bond of $8,000 and will appear in court on November 8, 2023, to face these charges:

Possession of a Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Engaging in Pursuit (Warrant)
Operating a Motor Vehicle (MV) Under Suspension (Warrant)
Operating an Unregistered MV (Warrant)
No Insurance (Warrant)
Failure to Appear 2nd Degree (Warrants – 2 Counts)
Violation of Probation (Warrant)
Milford News: Theft Of Cooking Oil
On September 15, 2023, officers took a complaint from Lasse’s Restaurant about the theft of cooking oil
overnight. Orange PD had made an arrest of 3 males overnight for the theft of oil in their town. After an
investigation, it was determined that the 3 males were also responsible for the Lasse’s theft. The officer went to Derby court where the males were awaiting arraignment for the Orange arrest and they were charged
accordingly.
Milford News: Fatal Motorcycle Crash
The Milford – Emergency Operations Center (EOC) received a 911 call at
7:20pm for a report of a motor vehicle accident (MVA), involving a motorcycle
and a truck on I-95. Companies arrived on scene to find the accident to be
at I-95 North-Bound, just prior to exit 39-A. The accident was serious,
resulting in 1 occupant/rider sustaining life threatening injuries and being
pronounced dead at the scene.
