Bridgeport–Fireworks from individuals result in false shots fired calls throughout the city.
9:02pm–Bridgeport–Report of a structure fire at 100 Atlantic Street is false once again. There have been a number of false alarms at this address in the past three weeks. The calls originate from a pre-paid untraceable cellphone.
8:25am–Bridgeport–Report of an oven fire at 126 Catherine Street. Fire department on scene, fire is out and slight smoke condition in the apartment.
8:24pm–Fairfield fire department forced entry into a home on Pierce Street which had heavy smoke in the house. Appears to be food burning in the stove. Homeowner NOT home. Fire department requesting police to help locate them.
3:50am–Bridgeport–Report of a basement fire on Burnsford Ave. appears to be a false alarm. Fire department checking.
2:06am–Bridgeport–Report of a stabbing at Arctic and Pembrooke Street. Victim stabbed in the stomach. Reports indicate it doesn’t look good for the victim. UPDATE–The victim died of his wounds at Bridgeport Hospital.
2:02am–Bridgeport–Street fight with guns on Poplar Street at the corner of Fairfield Ave. Police on scene. UPDATE–One person sent to the hospital after getting hit in the face with a fist.
1:49am–Bridgeport–Man a the train Station on Water Street has a gash in the head after being hit with a cane.
1:39am–Bridgeport–Fight at Panama Joe’s at North Ave. near Center St. leaves one injured.

4:05am–#Bridgeport–Man shot in the hand on Boston Avenue at Beecher Street near Pep Boys. UPDATE– Police just reported this is NOT a gunshot victim, just a man with an injury to his hand. Not known what caused the injury.
3:41am–#Fairfield–Report of a fight in the parking lot across the street from the Sky Hookah Lounge. Police on the way.
2:46am–#Bridgeport–A gunshot victim just arrived at St. Vincent’s Hospital via private vehicle. He caught a bullet in the arm at the White Eagle shooting earlier tonight. He went home and decided to get the wound treated.
2:39am–Man was jumped on Brooks and Jane Street possible broken nose.
2:01am–Man was assaulted and taken to a local hospital at Stratford Avenue and Hollister Avenue.

11:12pm–Bridgeport–Report of a Police Officer with a hand injury while at a call at Main and Whitting Street.
9:03pm–#Bridgeport–Subway at 1739 E Main St robbed of $300 and all the cookies. Tall male in a gray jacket and skully capt. He also had a cloth band-aid on his face robbed the store and fled towards Bradley Street, he may have gotten into a waiting car.
1:50pm–Fairfield–Constriction crews at Ludlowe Heath Care on 118 Jefferson St. reporting two ladders stolen from the construction site.
3:10am–Bridgeport–Break-in at the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Suspect caught by police, EMTs sent for the resident for a panic attack.
2:27am–Officer injured falling down a flight of stairs at a call on Pleasant Street dislocating his shoulder.
2:04am–Patrol officer radios in he hear 4 or 5 shots fired towards Boston Ave/East Main St. area. A Goddard Street resident calls police regarding the same shots fired.

Upstate NY Motorcyclist Loses License For Speeding At 170mph On Thruway
A Saratoga County man who hit 170 mph while driving on the state Thruway will have no driver’s license for at least 90 days after pleading guilty Wednesday, but warned he’d do it again, according to a prosecutor. Along the Thruway, troopers clocked his speed at 150 mph and 170 mph before the motorcyclist stopped for gas in New Paltz. Hearst Newspapers has the full story here…..
FBI, State Police Raid Bridgeport Condo
BRIDGEPORT — Two people were dragged out of a North Avenue condo early Thursday morning during a raid run by state police and FBI agents, but both people were subsequently released, and agents left the scene without making any arrests. Connecticut Post has the full story here:
