#Fairfield Connecticut–On Saturday, April 30, the Fairfield Police Department will conduct two sobriety checkpoints on Reef Road and Fairfield Beach Road. This type of enforcement help to make the roadways safer by arresting anyone who decides to operate a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, alerts the public that law enforcement takes the issue of DUI seriously, and increases the presence of officers within our community.

Be Healthy—Learn How to Eat Locally and in Season @ The Fairfield Public Library
#Fairfield, CT– Learn how to use the best of your local produce at a special lecture at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road. The lecture will be on Thursday, May 5 at 7 pm.
Heather Carey is a culinary nutritionist with years of gardening and cooking experience. She believes that eating locally and in-season is the healthiest and tastiest way to eat. Her training includes a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from New York University and a certification from The Natural Gourmet Institute Chef’s Training Program. She will inspire you to make simple yet significant diet and lifestyle changes so that you can experience better health, well-being and increased kitchen confidence!
Advanced registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
