Bridgeport News: 2 Street Robberies Possibly Same Suspects
9:20pm–#Bridgeport News: A 15 year old was robbed of his cellphone on Sherwood Avenue, then a second call for a robbery and assault at Iranistan and State Street. Police are looking for 4 black males and a Hispanic female responsible, one of them had a taser. There was no further description at this time.

Bridgeport News: Woman Strikes 6 Year Old
2:20pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A 25 year old woman struck a woman’s 6 year old grandchild inside the Salvation Army at 345 Huntington Turnpike. The woman then fled and was followed. Police have here detained on Priscilla Street.

10:49am–#cttraffic–#Stratford CT– A one car crash has the right and shoulder closed on I-95 southbound near exit 31. Traffic is getting by, I wouldn’t detour.
Bridgeport News: Structure Fire
8:18am–Firefighters battled a house fire at 395 Chamberlain Avenue. Fire was reported heavy throughout the structure.

Ganim At Odds With O&G Debris Pile On Seaside Avenue
#Bridgeport Connecticut–Mayor Ganim, city officials and concerned citizens gathered across the street from O & G site at 1225 Seaview Avenue Friday. Mayor Ganim read excerpts from a Order to Comply in violating a Certificate of Zoning Compliance or have a Coastal Site Plan. The mayor said it was like another Mount Trashmore the mayor fought the first time he was mayor.
Citizens came out for health concerns and worried that the company would move its operations to Seaside Village, within a quarter mile of schools and Seaside Park. City Attorney R. Christoper Meyer’s concern was the health of the citizens and is looking to quickly get this remedied.
There is a hearing scheduled for May 10th for O&G’s opportunity to be heard.
Today’s 2nd Vehicle Fire
10:00pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–Tonight’s 2nd vehicle fire is at 35 Gurdon Street which extended to a fence. Firefighters have it under control.

4:49pm–Bridgeport Connecticut– A ten year old boy has been hit by a car at Salem and Gurden Street. The striking vehicle stopped and has remained on scene according to radio reports. No word on the child’s condition.
