Norwalk News: Bank Robbery

#Norwalk Connecticut--Norwalk Department of Police Service Detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today at 10:05 am at the Webster Bank located at 402 Connecticut Avenue. The suspect entered the bank and passed a note. The suspect indicated he had a weapon but did not display one. Once the suspect obtained money, he fled on foot to Stop and Shop where he entered a vehicle and fled the area. The suspect is described as a black male, 50’s, medium build, approximately 5’-6" tall, walked with a cane in his right hand and has a large gap between his top front teeth. Fairfield News: U.S. Marshals Take 1 Into Custody

11:11am--#Fairfield Connecticut-- One man was taken into custody after a raid at a home under construction at 615 Brooklawn Avenue.  I haven't had any need for  contacts at the marshal's office so I called Fairfield Police Chief who said his officers were not involved and had no information on it.  All the undercover officers cars were unmarked police cars with New York plates.  A witness told me it was  one of the painters from New York.   Online records said the home is owned by Dr. Goldye Meyer Phd. a licensed professional counselor.  I doubt she will be giving the painters a good listing on Angie's List!

Bridgeport News: St. V’s Employee Robbed At Gunpoint

New Haven News: High Speed Chase I-95

UPDATE: He is being charged with kidnapping among other misdemeanor charges according to radio reports. UPDATE:  The driver clipped a couple of East Haven police cars according to radio reports. 8:09pm--#NewHaven CT-- A high speed chase on I-95 southbound comes to an end at exit 48, the ramp is shut down (Route 34?).  Sounds like a child was in one of the cars but is safe and sound according to radio reports.

Local Heroes!

On the morning of May 31, 2016, Jay Tolisano experienced a cardiac arrest in his Fairfield home after his morning workout. Jay’s wife, Kerry, heard something weird coming from the room and decided to check on him. She found her 39 year old husband unresponsive. She immediately dialed 911.  The 911 dispatchers sent the Fairfield Police and Fire Departments and simultaneously notified American Medical Response. Upon the rescuers arrival, they found Kerry doing CPR on her husband with the assistance of the 911 dispatcher. CPR was taken over by the rescuers and advanced life support measures were started by the AMR crew Allen Jelliffe and Tchad Williams.
