4:04pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– The pursuit of a stolen white SUV on and around East Main Street came to an end after the SUV got a flat tire at Crescent and Noble Avenue. The smoking flat tire was thought to be a vehicle fire which was out upon firefighters arrival. The driver was taken into custody.
3:11pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Odor of gas indoors at 385 William Street. Police are already on scene for a domestic issue.

1:33pm–#Greenwich Connecticut– Over $10,000 in handbags were taken from Saks Fifth Avenue at 205 Greenwich Avenue by two women, one with a child in a carrier. Police are looking for a newer four door white Lexus with a partial New Jersey plate DD.

12:09am–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Two women were in remarkably good moods after waiting 9 hours for police to respond for an accident. The two women got into a fender bender in the Stop and Shop parking lot at 4531 Main Street around 3pm Monday. Bridgeport Police were dispatched just after midnight, 9 hours later to take the report. The two took turns for bathroom and food breaks. Naps and cellphones kept them entertained. They had to keep starting their cars to keep warm. It was thirty six degrees when I arrived. One of the woman had their elderly grandmother with her. She is a retired hospital worker and she said it felt like she put a shift in the hospital. The woman said she will catch up with her medication when they get home. I asked them why they didn’t just take cellphone pictures and swap phone numbers and they said their insurance companies insisted on a police report.
11:40am–#Bridgeport Connecticut–Firefighters were called to 1049 Fairfield Avenue for an odor of gas. Police and gas company called. Expect delays if in the area.

11:00pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Knowlton Street at Maple Street is closed due to a large water main break. The roadway is expected to be closed all night and into the morning. Expect a lot of media, they love covering these for some reason….probably because they are there for so long.

UPDATE: 9:50pm–Sounds like they caught the suspect at Huntington and Boston Avenue.
UPDATE: A person was robbed and pistol whipped on Livingston Street, hit and bleeding on the head.
8:20pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Shots were fired in the vicinity of a police officer who gave chase in the East Main and Livingston area. Police chased him in the backyards of Livingston and Edna Street. If you live in the area and see someone running in your backyard call 911 immediately!
