Norwalk News: Restaurant Incident

12:50pm–#Norwalk CT– Westport Police have a man pulled over in front of St. Paul’s Church on East Avenue in Norwalk.  The man was wanted for causing a commotion in a restaurant in Westport and spraying employees with some kind of chemical.  No mention of the chemical nor the restaurant name.

Bridgeport News: Main Shot Outside McLevy Green

Bridgeport Police Update: On April 20, 2017 at 0035 hours, a shooting incident occurred in the area of 202 State Street, between Main Street and Broad Street. Several gunshots were fired at this location, and a male victim identified as Max Antoine, 33 was struck by gunfire. Antoine collapsed in the middle of McLevy Park and was pronounced dead at the scene. Antoine sustained at least one gunshot wound to the torso. Detectives have been interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence recovered from the area. A crime scene was processed by the Bridgeport Police Department Identification Unit. Any person with information about this crime is asked to call police at 203-576-TIPS (8477).

12:35AMish– #Bridgeport CT– A man was shot outside McLevy Green at 211 State Street.  Witnesses heard several gunshots and a dark colored car flee towards the train station.  The victim was reported down on the ground lifeless.  The only ambulance on scene left empty.  This is breaking news and there is not a lot of information at this time.

 

Seymour News: House Fire

Seymour Fire Department UPDATE:

At 0045 hours, the Seymour Fire Department was dispatched to 165 West Street for a reported structure fire possibly with residents trapped. Volunteer Fire Units arrived on scene and found a 2 story wood frame 4 family home with fire coming from the second floor windows. Crews made an aggressive interior attack and were able to extinguish the blaze with assistance from the Oxford and Beacon Falls Fire Departments.

Approximately 50 firefighters quelled the flames in about 45 minutes. One resident was transported to the hospital with a minor burn to the shoulder. No firefighters or other residents were injured. Smoke alarms saved lives this morning when the alerted sleeping tenants of the fire.

Bridgeport News: Shots Fired

1:15am–UPDATE: 1480 Capital Avenue reporting bullet holes in their home.

1:00am–#Bridgeport CT– Police received a number of calls for shots fired Cleveland and Park Avenue with a car fleeing the area.  So far no one or anything reported hit.  It does not sound related to the shooting on State Street.
