2020-07-11@9:33pm–#Bridgeport CT– Bridgeport Police are reporting that a gunshot victim arrived at Bridgeport Hospital. There are no further information on the extent of injuries or where the shooting took place.
2020-07-10@10:30pm–#Stratord CT– Many viewers contacted me Friday night to alert me of a police presence on Dorus Street. Chief McNeil said it was a state police investigation over a stolen rifle.
2020-07-11@7:11pm–#Fairfield CT– Police are looking for a brown and gold pickup with front end damage after hitting a pedestrian on Brookview Avenue, the driver fled. The initial report says the pedestrian has an ankle injury.
2020-07-11@3:33pm–An overturned kayaker was located between Knapps Landing and the Audubon Society in Milford located on the Milford side. Both Stratford and Milford marine units assisted in locating him.
First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick announced today that the Town of Fairfield and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will again co-sponsor the Fairfield Sidewalk Sale event, which will be held, rain or shine, in Fairfield Center on Saturday, July 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Select merchants will offer a preview of sale merchandise beginning Thursday, July 16th.
Vendors will set up stands and offer a variety of merchandise for sale on Sherman Green and along the Post Road, from the Heritage Square Shopping Center to the Promenade at the Brick Walk. From the latest fashion apparel and jewelry to sporting goods and best-selling books, there’s something for everyone! Shop the summer’s hottest deals offered by Fairfield’s local merchants. Admission to the event is free.
Take a break from shopping, relax and enjoy lunch “al fresco” at one of Fairfield’s many fine restaurants. All business participants and attendees are expected to adhere to public health and safety protocols, including social distancing and facial coverings to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with State and local guidelines.

On July 10, 2020 at 0159 hours, a Shot Spotter activation indicated gunfire at PT Barnum apartments near building 4. A uniformed police detail that was working in the area responded to the incident and were met by a large crowd. Officers discovered a 21 year old male lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Teon Kelly of Bridgeport was transported by medics to Bridgeport Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Officer at the shooting scene attempted to identify witnesses, but no one would cooperate with officers, despite that fact that it appears there were dozens of people present when the shooting occurred. Detectives processed a crime scene overnight and are reviewing video evidence. Anyone with information regarding the murder of Teon Kelly is asked to call Bridgeport Police at 203-576-TIPS (8477).
