Three Arrested After Loaded Guns and Drugs Found in Vehicle Stop

On May 20, 2025, Norwalk Police stopped a vehicle near Cudlipp Street and Jacob Street and found the driver, Charles Razor, had a suspended license. Passenger Darius McGee was carrying a loaded Glock 45 with an extended magazine, and a search of the vehicle uncovered another loaded handgun with a defaced serial number, suspected narcotics, and unidentified pills. None of the occupants had a valid pistol permit, and all were taken into custody without incident.

Charles Razor, 26, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Weapons in a Motor Vehicle, Alteration of a Serial Number, Operating Under Suspension, and Possession of Narcotics. His bond was set at $250,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on June 3, 2025.

Darius McGee, 23, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Weapons in a Motor Vehicle, Illegal Sale/Purchase of a High-Capacity Magazine, and Possession of Narcotics. His bond was set at $200,000, with a court date of June 3, 2025.

Dasiah Darielle McGee, 23, was charged with Weapons in a Motor Vehicle. Her bond was set at $10,000, and she is also due in court on June 3, 2025.

Driver Arrested After Crash That Injured Child Cyclist in Norwalk

Norwalk Police Officers have arrested Giovani Holguin, the driver involved in a motor vehicle accident on April 19, 2025, which resulted in serious physical injuries to a juvenile. At 7:17 PM on April 19, 2025, Norwalk Combined Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle accident in the area of 44 Wilson Avenue in which a vehicle struck a juvenile. Officers from the Norwalk Police Department, along with the Norwalk Fire Department and Norwalk Hospital Emergency Medical Services, were quickly dispatched to the scene. The juvenile, who had sustained serious injuries, was transported to Norwalk Hospital for medical treatment.

The Norwalk Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene to process evidence. Officer Equi of the Crash Reconstruction Unit led the investigation, canvassing the area for surveillance footage, interviewing witnesses, and reconstructing the accident based on the evidence gathered at the scene.

The investigation revealed that the injured juvenile was one of five individuals riding their bicycles along the eastbound lane of Wilson Avenue. Holguin, who was driving a vehicle westbound on Wilson Avenue, left his lane of travel prior to striking the juvenile.

After a thorough investigation, Officer Equi applied for an arrest warrant for Holguin. On May 14, 2025, Holguin turned himself in at Norwalk Police Headquarters.

Holguin was charged with five counts of Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree, Reckless Driving, Traveling Unreasonably Fast, and Failure to Maintain Proper Lane. He was held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 23, 2025.

Norwalk High School Coach Arrested for Sexual Assault

A Norwalk High School softball coach has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior and unwanted touching of students on school grounds. Cary Nadel, 70, of Wilton, turned himself in to police on May 9, 2025, and faces four counts of Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree and one count of Risk of Injury to a Minor. Norwalk Police Arrest Three for Paintball Gun Drive-By Attacks

Norwalk Police arrested three individuals overnight after multiple people were shot at with paintballs from a moving SUV. Officers stopped the suspect vehicle—a gray 2011 Acura MDX—shortly after the incidents and found paintballs and a paintball gun inside.

18-year-old Mason Riina of Norwalk and two 17-year-old juveniles were taken into custody following two separate incidents reported near East Avenue and West Avenue. One victim was struck in the thigh, while another reported being fired at but was not hit. All three face charges of first-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. Riina was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 13.

Three Arrested After Taxi Driver Assaulted at Norwalk CITGO

Norwalk, CT – April 24, 2025 – At 11:46 PM Thursday night, Norwalk Police responded to the CITGO gas station at 128 Connecticut Avenue after receiving reports that a taxi driver had been assaulted by three individuals.

When officers arrived on scene, they separated the involved parties and began their investigation. The taxi driver had suffered lacerations to the left side of his face after being punched and struck with a gas station squeegee. Medical aid was requested.

According to police, the suspects refused to pay their cab fare, assaulted the driver, and stole personal items from the taxi. Surveillance footage and witness accounts supported the claims.

The suspects were placed under arrest, but one of them, Lance Harris, 21, of Bronx, NY, became combative while being transported. Harris kicked the inside of the police cruiser, broke off part of the partition, and used it to strike the window. Officers struggled to remove the object from Harris, during which one officer sustained abrasions to his forearm. Harris also spit on another officer’s outer vest carrier.

After arriving at the holding facility, Harris reportedly damaged two separate security cameras in different cells, requiring officers to relocate him multiple times.

Vape Shop Search Warrant Leads to Arrest

On April 22, 2025, Norwalk Police served a search and seizure warrant at Clever Smoke Shop on New Canaan Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation into unlicensed cannabis sales. Officers found pre-wrapped marijuana cigarettes, edibles, and vape products concealed in a storage cabinet hidden behind beverage boxes, along with $7,030 in cash.

Seized items included 287 pre-rolled cigarettes, 50 marijuana flower pouches, 215 illegal vape pens, 49 THC edibles, and nearly 39 pounds of packaged marijuana. Following the investigation, 37-year-old Nileshkumar Patel of Freeport, NY, was arrested and charged with possession and possession with intent to sell over 1kg of marijuana product.
