9:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--A car pursuit with four occupants on the East Side. 3 detained in the 600 block of Ogden Street after a brief foot pursuit. Forth in custody after a brief chase into backyards on Helen Street. Something seen being thrown from the car during the pursuit. Drug sniffing dog requested to the scene.
9:14pm--#Fairfield CT---Firefighters on scene at the South Benson Marina Guard Shack on Turney Road. Initial reports is odor of rubber burning and some smoke. Firefighters on scene, initial reports no fire and the are investigating.
9:-02 pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on scene at 1972 Noble Avenue. Initial call said structure fire, turns out to be brush burning in a barrel in the backyard.
7:11pm--#cttraffic--A state trooper was hit by a car while sitting in his car on the Wheeler Moses Bridge. EMS and additional troopers on the way.
2:10pm--#Bridgeport CT--Today's car fire is on Reservoir Avenue near Sylvan Avenue. Firefighter on scene putting it out! Police requested to help with traffic. Avoid the area if you can.

#Bridgeport, CT – Jan. 31, 2014 – A city man was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with a felony domestic violence warrant. Officer Christopher Martin responded to a Holly Street address on Wednesday on a report that a man, Sammy Hill, 39, was attempting to assault a relative. On scene, police determined that Hill also had a felony domestic violence warrant. Hill had fled the scene and police checked several locations but could not locate him. Police were called back Thursday on information that he had returned. Martin, Officer Paul Nikola and Lts. John Cummings and Kevin Gilleran, among others, responded. They were provided with information that he might have a gun and that he had substance abuse…
