Bridgeport will be the home of the first one-stop Veterans Service Center in the state, to be housed in the City’s Veterans’ Affairs Office at 752 E. Main St. The new center will allow area veterans the ability to access local, state and federal assistance, including direct submission of VA claims, advocacy for veterans and their family members; a PTSD support group and assistance with readjustment needs or concerns, in addition to the advocacy and social support services, food pantry and transportation already offered by the City.

I plan to have a video report on this tomorrow.
