It was a wild night for police and EMTs in Bridgeport early Sunday morning just before 12:30am on Seaview Ave.. As the paramedics were caring for their patients shots rang even though police were on the scene. AMR ordered their EMTs and ambulances away from the scene. Police quickly restored the area and EMTs immediately returned. This is why you will see police in video with automatic weapons.

Three people were walking down Seaview Ave. when they were approached by a man with a gun who opened fire on them. Justin Thompson, age 14 was pronounced dead at the scene. Injured was Benny Turner, 21, shot in the hand and Travon Phidd, 20, shot in the leg.
