Norwalk Investigates A Fatal Accident

The Norwalk Department of Police Service is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred in the area of 197 Newtown Avenue at 11:30 pm on April 28, 2016. The preliminary investigation indicates a 79 year-old male resident of Norwalk was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a motor vehicle. The operator of the vehicle immediately stopped and called police. The name of the male is being withheld pending the notification of his next of kin. TRUMBULL POLICE TO HOST NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE-BACK DAY ANNUAL “PUBLIC SAFETY DAY” AND

Will This Chase More Jobs From Connecticut?

#HARTFORD, CT – On Thursday, April 28th, advocates for fair wages in Connecticut presented an invoice for $486 million to a local Walmart on Flatbush Avenue. The invoice represented the annual cost of low-wage jobs to Connecticut taxpayers, who foot the bill when large corporations like Walmart pay wages so low that their employees must rely on public assistance to support their families. Bridgeport News: Car Sinks Boat On Stratford Avenue

4:08pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--A SUV towing a boat across Stratford Avenue from Radel onto Florence Street was torpedoed by a car on Stratford Avenue.  The driver of the red car along with a passenger in the blue SUV were taken to the hospital, I have no word on their injuries.   The man in SUV just purchased the boat according to witnesses.  Let's hope everyone is in good hands with Allstate!
