Bridgeport Police responded to a preliminary report of a party seen breaking into a commercial property in the 500th block of Barnum Ave (New England Tractor Training School). Upon arrival BPD Officers found a party matching the complainant description of the individual responsible hiding behind a concrete barrier. The complainant indicated that the party identified as Lonnie Pridgen 54yrs old of Bridgeport, had been burglarizing this location and another stealing computers and causing damage to the property. Lonnie Pridgen was detained and arrested for the following:
2020-09-07@12:14am–#Fairfield CT– #Bridgeport CT– Police are looking for a black male with dreadlocks, white t-shirt and dark-colored pants who attempted to enter a business at the plaza at 525 Tunxis Hill Road. He fled towards the Moody Road/North Avenue area.
UPDATE: Police located the 5 juvenile males and turned them over to their parents.

2020-09-06@5:14pm–#Fairfield CT– Fairfield Police K-9 officer Kevin Wells located a woman missing out of Stamford for the last 24 hours on I-95 southbound near exit 20. The woman has dementia and is diabetic. Great job officer Wells!
2020-09-06@2:15pm–#Bridgeport CT– Today’s vehicle fire is being hosted by Bridgeport on Elm Court. The car is fully engulfed and firefighters are taking care of it.
Police UPDATE: Bridgeport Police were called to the Hollister Avenue for a preliminary report of a possible street fight. Several officers responded to the scene including K9 Officer Cetti, Officer Ribeiro,and Officer Uliano. Upon arrival,100-150 patrons were exiting a club and proceeding to their vehicles. As Officers were assisting in getting the crowd cleared out K9 Officer Cetti placed her police vehicle across the roadway with her emergency lights on so as to direct traffic North onto Logan Street from parking lots so as they was cleared out they had an easy egress from the event. As K9 Officer Cetti was directing exiting traffic a vehicle that was not adhering to the Officer’s orders sped up and struck the Officer’s vehicle pinning her between the vehicles. The responsible operator later identified as Kyle Hunt of Rosendale, NY fled onto I-95 with Officers in pursuit. The operator proceeded southbound and fled from Officers with a speed in excess of 100mph. Fairfield PD and CSP assisted BPD with the search for the vehicle when they came upon a one-car MVA on I-95 in Fairfield. The operator had struck the guardrail. As Officers approached the vehicle the operator exited without incident. A search of the vehicle turned up a handgun magazine and bullets that were located on the operator. The injured officer received serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The incident continues to be investigated. Kyle Hunt 24 years old from Rosendale, NY is charged with the following:
53a-63 Reckless Endangerment 1st degree 2 counts. Bond set at $20,000
