Homework Helpers
Calling all students in grades 6-8 who want a little help with their assignments. High school students are available to work with you one-on-one in a no stress environment helping you with your class assignments, studying for a test or just helping you improve your grades. These are 1 hour sessions and registration is required. Location: Teen Department.
11/2: 6:00-7:00 pm: Día de Los Muertos Sugar Skull Planters
Come learn about this vibrant holiday to remember loved ones by painting a calvera. Everyone who attends will leave with a plant. This program is for adults and teens in grades 9-12 only. Registration is required. Location: Lovell Room.
11/7: 12:00-4:00 pm: French Movie Day: In Honor of National French Week
National French Week is November 4th-10th. Join us for an afternoon of movies. Grades 6-12. No registration required. Location: Lovell Room.
Movie schedule: 12-1:30 pm: A Monster in Paris; 2-4 pm: Marie Antoinette.
11/10: 5:00-6:30 pm: Holiday Puzzle Art
Teens are invited to our Holiday Jigsaw Puzzle Art Studio, a festive session where you can create something awesome using loose jigsaw puzzle pieces. Holiday-themed samples and inspiration will be available, but feel free to be as creative and unique as you want with your masterpiece. Grades 6-12. All supplies provided; no registration required. Location: Lovell Room.

Whether you’re an experienced chess player or playing for the first time, join us for refreshments and friendly competition! Grades 6-12. No registration required. Location: Teen Department.
11/19: 4:00-5:30 pm: Anime Cafe
Get cozy in our “cafe” while watching anime and enjoying Japanese treats! There will be anime-themed giveaways too! Grades 6-12. No registration required. Location: Teen Department.
11/23: 4:00-6:00 pm: Friendsgiving: Karaoke Edition
Bring your bestie and all the good vibes. Let’s celebrate friendship with music, crafts and delicious food. Grades 6-12. No registration required. Location: Lovell Room.
