4pm ish–A fire broke out in a house on Ruth Street (upper Park Avenue).  John Cotter from Nutmeg Adjusters was on scene and confirmed the fire to us.  The fire was large enough that Red Cross helped relocate the residences.  Apparently this fire went under everyone’s radar, one of our scanners was turned down, and other media I spoke with didn’t catch it either.  Once I discovered the scanner was turned down I heard the firefighters say they were waiting for the Red Cross to arrive.  If anyone has photos of the fire please post it on our Facebook wall.
