12:18am–#Fairfield CT–Report of a car hitting a utility pole on Bullard Street (off Melville Avenue).  The driver fled the scene.  The utility pole is snapped in half and UI is called to the scene.

12:44am–UPDATE: This car was just reported taken without permission with keys in Bridgeport .  I called both police departments to connect the dots.  They would have figured it out, I just helped them out a little faster.

 

2:09am–#UPDATE: Suspect found  and in custody on Trefoil Court.  Police were able to ping the suspect’s cell phone.  There was another suspect wanted in the Trefoil Court area moments before the crash.
