#Bridgeport CT–For Bridgeport Police Training Academy Instructor Officer Kateema Riettie thought it was just another two-mile run with recruits, this time to the police department at 300 Congress Street. This time, however, she was greeted by Chief Of Police AJ Perez. Mayor Joesph Ganim arrived with a plaque in hand. Little did Riettie know that the department and mayor were presenting her with a plaque praising here recent athletic accomplishments like competing in the World Athletic Cup in London last July and participating in the Central American Caribbean games in Columbia late July and early this August. Chief Perez encouraged the recruits to follow in her footsteps.
