2021-02-11 #Bridgeport CT– At 1648hrs today, an attempted robbery occurred on North Washington Avenue where a firearm was displayed. Patrol officers located the responsible vehicle and engaged it in a pursuit after the driver failed to stop when signaled. The pursuit entered I95 north and ended in Milford after the suspect vehicle crashed. Two suspects were taken into custody and transported back to Bridgeport to face charges of attempted robbery and engaging police in pursuit. Two Bridgeport police officers sustained minor injuries during the incident. The identities of the arrested persons are not available at this time.

There was no mention of the condition of the occupants or children the suspect vehicle hit.
