Just before 2am Saturday morning police that shots were fired on Brooks Street. Multiple calls came in about multiple victims. In the end 3 were shot, it is unclear if they were shot inside a residence or outside of 444 Brooks Street. One person was shot in the hand, another in the shoulder and the most serious was shot in the head. Police gave pursuit on a suspect matching the description of who they were looking for down Brooks Street towards Shelton Street. A perimeter was set and police canine was on the scene but it was not know if they apprehended the suspect. Police said the person shot in the head was in very serious condition. Bridgeport just just investigate the twelfth homicide in the city two hours earlier on Wood Avenue.
