His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

STRATFORD, CT (July 26, 2017) — Last year, the Stratford Health Department developed a tool to help connect neighborhood food pantries with backyard gardeners wishing to share their excess homegrown produce with neighbors in need.   The website - www.townofstratford.com/DonateProduce  - allows gardeners who find themselves with excess produce and want to share part of their harvest with others the ability to find information about local pantries along with the days and times donations will be accepted.
